First time i heard this album was when i was 9 years old on MTV when Kendrick was nominated for best music video. My little brain couldn't comprehend Swimming Pools, my soul left my body and i felt like i was levitating. Years later my late friend Von showed me Kendrick again in 2019 and let me fall in love with his music again. Since then he was and still is my favorite and most listened artist, and this is my favorite album of all time. Long live Von.
